I just serviced my car with ATF change here. I would say John is the most honest man I have ever met. I had numerous bad experiences with different auto shops in Newton and Quincy. Some charged you at a price it is hard to imagine and finally they didn’t even do the jobs, like old dark brake fluid still stayed dead in my car. John is very professional and has passion at his jobs. He provides really good works for which I have no doubts. Every time I had my car serviced here, I definitely said “ Thank you !” to John before I left.

The gas prices here are usually competitive, and the convenience store has a decent selection of snacks and beverages. However, the pump area can get quite crowded during peak hours, which can be a bit frustrating. Overall, it’s a reliable stop when I need to refuel.

I recently had an unfortunate situation while driving when my tire hit a large pothole and was completely damaged. I had an urgent appointment to get to, so I called my insurance company and also the dealership where I bought my car. Everyone tried to help, but it was going to take about 1–2 hours for assistance to arrive. Since I could not afford to miss my appointment, I carefully drove my car about one mile to the nearest gas station. I noticed there was a repair station next to the gas station, but it was closed. As I understood it belonged to the gas station, I politely asked if someone could possibly help me install my spare tire. Without hesitation, they kindly helped me. Within about 10 minutes, they had changed my spare tire and I was able to continue on my way and make it to my appointment on time. Meeting kind and helpful people like this truly makes me happy. While driving, we often encounter rude drivers who don’t even yield, but coming across friendly and helpful people like them restores your faith in others. I am truly grateful for their help. From now on, I will gladly buy my gas from this station regardless of the price. I sincerely appreciate what they did fo

I have been going to John for about 8 years. My girlfriend to him now too and won’t go anywhere else to get her car worked on. He is honest and affordable. I will only go to John for as long as I have a car that needs to be fixed.

I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience with J&S last month I felt compelled to do so. Let me get straight to the point: John is perhaps the single most honest and diligent auto professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and I’ve worked with quite a few. Unless you yourself are a mechanic or have experience working on your own car, it’s common (and often smart) to worry that any given mechanic might be taking you for a ride- inflating labor hours and part costs, recommending unnecessary work, or not addressing problems that need addressing because the work isn’t profitable enough or it’s too much of a hassle to fix. I’m lucky enough to have a bit of experience with cars myself, and so usually can get a sense pretty quickly of what type of person I’m dealing with at a garage. And I don’t think I’ve ever run into another mechanic who so rapidly and so universally engendered confidence. John was incredibly flexible, working to squeeze me in on a short-term basis when I needed something looked at, and took time to discuss with me all my options, from the most expensive and involved to the most basic and affordable, and shared his thoughts on what might be
